Afri Insurance Launches Digital Auto Sales in Cameroon

Afri Insurance has launched digital auto insurance sales across high-traffic locations in Douala and Yaoundé, targeting a market worth about CFA62 billion in annual premiums.. Unveiled in Douala on September 28, 2026, the system will allow its sales teams and partner brokers to issue quotes and sell policies directly in the field, while the industry moves toward digital auto insurance certificates. The company plans to deploy teams at gas stations, car washes, vehicle inspection centers, garages and dealerships in Douala and Yaoundé. Partner brokers will receive tablets connected to Afri Insurance’s subscription platform, allowing them to process requests and payments on the spot. The system adds another layer to Afri Insurance’s existing physical network. The company has direct offices in Douala and Yaoundé and also sells its products through CCA Bank branches via broker Afriassure. The non-life subsidiary of CCA Holding was created in April 2025 and received approval from the Ministry of Finance in August of that year, with share capital of CFA5 billion.
