Togo Revenue Office: Single Business Tax Filing Moves Online

Togo’s Revenue Office (OTR) launched a digital platform on Thursday, September 17, 2026, allowing small and medium-sized enterprises, small and medium-sized manufacturers, and other taxpayers subject to the Single Business Tax (TPU) to file and pay the tax online. It is the latest development in Togo’s broader tax modernization drive. TPU Filing and Payments Move Online Until now, some TPU procedures still had to be completed in person, particularly filing and payment. Taxpayers had to submit paper forms, have the information re-entered by a tax official, and make payments at tax offices. The process meant long waits, risks of data-entry errors and higher compliance costs. The newly launched e-TPU platform is designed to replace that process with a fully digital six-step procedure: access using the taxpayer’s unique identification number, submission of a simplified tax filing, filing of the declaration, automated tax calculation, mobile payment and issuance of a receipt with a QR code. The Togolese tax authority said the platform supports mobile payment services already available in Togo, including Flooz, Moov Money and Coris Money. It is designed to work with a basic internet connection and on a basic mobile phone.
