
CEMAC Regulator Revokes Axiome Capital's License
Central Africa’s financial market regulator has revoked Axiome Capital’s license and initiated its liquidation after the Congolese investment advisory firm failed to conduct any market activity in the three years since it received authorization. The Central African Financial Market Supervisory Commission (COSUMAF) announced the measures in a disciplinary decision issued on August 3, 2026. COSUMAF’s board authorized its president to appoint a liquidator to complete the required procedures. The regulator also revoked the individual license of Axiome Capital manager Attendu Bogalys Mboussa Galibayi. Established in Brazzaville in January 2020 with CFA1 million in capital, Axiome Capital received authorization on March 31, 2023, to operate as a financial investment adviser in the CEMAC region. The company, however, never conducted any market activity after it received the license. No Approved Manager Since 2025 Axiome Capital’s regulatory problems deepened on April 30, 2025, when Mboussa Galibayi informed COSUMAF that he had been appointed to the Republic of Congo presidency’s hydrocarbons department and could no longer manage the company.
