BICEC Appoints BCP International Banking Chief to Board

Banque Internationale du Cameroun pour l’Épargne et le Crédit (BICEC) has formally announced the appointment of Othmane Tajeddine, head of international banking at Morocco’s Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP), to its board of directors, placing the executive responsible for BCP’s international banking operations directly on the board of its main banking subsidiary in Cameroon. Shareholders approved Tajeddine’s appointment at their May 28, 2025 general meeting, according to a legal notice reviewed in September 2026. The notice therefore comes more than a year after the decision. His term will run until the general meeting convened to approve the financial statements for the year ending December 31, 2030. At the same meeting, shareholders renewed the board mandates of Anas Drihany, Hubert de Saint Jean, Habib James Koné and Abdeslam Bennani for six years.
