Togo Revenue Authority to Auction 155 Seized Vehicles

The Togo Revenue Authority (OTR) will hold a new public auction starting Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at the Customs Operations Directorate at Lomé Port. A total of 155 vehicles of various makes will be offered to bidders. Participation requires payment of a non-refundable CFAF 5,000 fee. Successful bidders must pay in full on site, plus a 12% surcharge. Purchased vehicles must be removed immediately. The OTR said any successful bidder who fails to pay the amount due by 5:30 p.m. on the day of the auction will have the sale canceled. These public sales generally involve goods that have been seized or left uncleared in customs storage. The OTR regularly holds such auctions throughout the year.
