Prof VP Tiwari has assumed charge as Acting Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Nagpur, succeeding the University's Founding VC, Prof (Dr) Vijender Kumar.Associated with MNLU Nagpur since its inception in 2016 as a founding faculty member, Prof Tiwari has served on the Executive Council, the Academic Council and the Research Committee.
