HNLU Team Secures Runner-Up at Asia Pacific Commercial Mediation Competition

A team from Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur , comprising Arushi Yadav, Karnika H. Gaira, and Prashansa Verma , secured the Runner-Up position at 10th Annual ADC-ICC Asia Pacific Commercial Mediation Competition 2026 (APCMC ADC-ICC 2026). The team was also conferred the award for Best Relationship Building with the Other Teams. The team represented HNLU in the competition and progressed through the various stages by demonstrating strong skills in mediation and dispute resolution . The competition required participants to engage with complex dispute scenarios, identify the underlying interests of the parties, and develop practical and mutually acceptable solutions through effective negotiation and mediation. Throughout the competition, the HNLU team demonstrated strategic thinking, effective communication, adaptability, and collaborative problem-solving . Their approach extended beyond the legal dimensions of a dispute, with emphasis on understanding the interests and concerns of the parties and working towards commercially and practically viable outcomes. The Best Relationship Building with the Other Teams award further recognised the teams ability to foster constructive professional relationships and maintain a collaborative approach beyond the competitive aspects of the event.
