The Financial Intelligence Authority, with technical assistance from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ)/SecFin Africa, embarked on a process to develop a manual to operationalize the implementation of the curriculum on financial investigations. The manual and relevant training tools were developed and officially launched on 11th June 2026 at Police Headquarters, Naguru. A 2-week Training of Trainers Program is underway in Entebbe which is aimed at building a pool of trainers who will facilitate the roll-out of the curriculum across law enforcement agencies. The program is targeting competent investigators from Uganda Police Force, Inspectorate of Government, Uganda Wildlife Authority, Financial Intelligence Authority, Uganda Revenue Authority and prosecutors from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
