Welcome to the Bank of Ghana Unclaimed Balances for Dormant Account Holders In accordance with Section 143 of the Banks and Specialized Deposit-Taking Institutions Act, 2016 (Act 930), all dormant accounts that have been inactive for a period of five (5) years are to be transferred to the Bank of Ghana. This portal is to enable Dormant Account Holders or their Legal Representatives trace unclaimed funds transferred to the Bank of Ghana by Banks and Specialised Deposit-Taking Institutions (SDIs).
